Walden Chu, Founder and CEO, ENTECH Global Solutions

Walden aims to build a leading technology-enabled group of the most effective pest management companies in Southeast Asia. He is a faith driven entrepreneur that has scaled and sold numerous businesses while leading a diversified group of companies under The Table Group and New Leaf Ventures out of the Philippines.

Walden continually seeks to put God’s love in action and currently serves on the advisory board of The U-Go Initiative and Way Up Foundation. He has served as Chairman and Board Trustee for Habitat for Humanity Philippines and the Real LIFE Foundation; and Board Trustee for the Solar Village Foundation and Christian Education Assistance Foundation.

Walden received his BBA in Finance and Accounting with distinction from the University of Michigan, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

B. Paul Santos – Board Member, ENTECH Global Solutions

Paul is Managing Partner of Wavemaker, Southeast Asia’s go-to early-stage VC for enterprise and deep tech, with over US$180 million in assets under management (AUM) across three funds, and close to US$700 million in total exits. 120+ out of the 140+ (85%) portfolio companies the firm has invested in since 2012 are in enterprise and deep tech. Specific industries include software, AI, security, as well as precision agriculture, cleantech, additive manufacturing, and laser communications.

Paul has a keen interest in promoting entrepreneurship and sustainability. He is an Advisor to the Singapore Management University (SMU), Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE), where he is also an Adjunct Faculty Member. He is also a member of the Singapore chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and a member of the Investment Committee of Asian Development Bank (ABD) Ventures, which supports startups that contribute to the achievement of the UNDP Sustainable Development Goals in Asia-Pacific.

Paul graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a B.S. in Management Engineering and a Joint Minor in International Management with the University of Antwerp.

Adam Lucas – Board Member, ENTECH Global Solutions

Adam is a Vice President with Concentric Equity Partners. He has evaluated and managed investments throughout the distributed services space, and served on the board of multiple residential and commercial services companies in the U.S., such as Environmental Pest Services (a pest control service provider in the U.S.) and Airway Services (wind turbine maintenance).

Prior to joining Concentric, Adam was an Associate with Arbor Investments, a Chicago-based middle market private equity firm, where he focused on companies in the food, beverage, and related industries. Prior to joining Arbor, Adam was an Analyst with Livingstone Partners in the firm’s Chicago office focusing on companies in the consumer, healthcare, and industrials industries.

He received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated cum laude, and his M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with High Honors.

Ian Ross – Board Member, ENTECH Global Solutions

Ian is a Partner with Concentric Equity Partners. He is responsible for originating new investment opportunities, executing new investments, and working with portfolio companies. Prior to joining Concentric, he was with the Edgewater Funds where he focused on sourcing new investments and working with portfolio companies with an industry focus on business services and healthcare services. Prior to joining Edgewater, Ian spent five years with Lincoln International, an investment banking firm based in Chicago. Prior to Lincoln, Ian spent two years with GE Capital Corporation in the corporate lending department. Ian also worked for a joint venture between GE Capital and The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ian has spent the majority of his career in the distributed home services space.

Select relevant investments in the pest control space include Marathon Data Systems (a SaaS software solution for field service technicians, renamed WorkWave) and Environmental Pest Solutions (a pest control service provider in the U.S.).

He received his B.A. in Finance, with honors, from Michigan State University and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ian is also a trustee of National Louis University.

Ken Hooten – Board Member, ENTECH Global Solutions

Ken is a Partner with Concentric Equity Partners, a private investment firm based in Chicago that he founded in 2003. Ken has a tenured career in building world-class distributed home service companies. Prior to founding Concentric, Ken was affiliated with ServiceMaster in a variety of capacities. He founded Service1Master Ventures, led M&A and Corporate Development, and served as the President and Founder of ServiceMaster Home Services Center, a joint venture between ServiceMaster and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

Ken’s involvement in the pest control industry started at ServiceMaster, where he was part of the acquisition of Terminix, one of the largest providers of termite and pest management services in the world. At Concentric, Ken continues to spend his time leading investments in the home services space.

Ken was the visionary for Environmental Pest Solutions, a U.S.-based pest control service provider that grew to be the 15th largest independent pest control company in North America. Additionally, he was an investor and board member of Marathon Data Systems (renamed WorkWave), a SaaS software solution for field service technicians. Ken has been active on the boards of both public and private service companies.

He received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
